Dhaka, May 31 (V7N) – The deep depression that had formed in the Bay of Bengal has weakened into a clear low-pressure area over Sherpur and adjoining Meghalaya, raising the risk of heavy to very heavy rainfall across seven divisions and potential landslides in hilly regions.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) issued this warning on Friday night (May 30), noting that the weather system had moved north and northeast from Satkhira, first turning into a land depression and later diminishing into a low-pressure zone.

-
Rangpur
-
