Dhaka, Jan 12 (V7N) — The weather in the capital Dhaka is expected to remain dry today, with the daytime temperature likely to stay almost unchanged, according to the Meteorological Department.

The forecast was issued by the Storm Warning Center of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department for Dhaka and surrounding areas for the next six hours from 7:00 am on Monday (January 12).

According to the forecast, the sky may remain partly cloudy at times, while light winds are expected to blow from the north or northwest at a speed of 8 to 12 kilometers per hour. No rainfall is anticipated during this period.

At 6:00 am, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 15.7 degrees Celsius, with 72 percent humidity.

Yesterday, the highest temperature in the capital was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, while today’s lowest temperature stood at 15.3 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department also said that no rainfall has been recorded in Dhaka and nearby areas over the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, sunset in Dhaka today will occur at 5:30 pm, and sunrise tomorrow (Tuesday) is expected at 6:44 am.
