Rajshahi, Sept 24, V7N - The Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Boalia Police Station has arrested Ezahar terrorist Ravi in connection with the firing and explosion of cocktails during a protest by anti-discrimination students in Rajshahi on August 5, 2024.

The arrested individual, identified as Ravi (47), is the son of Azizul alias Hubal from the Binodpur area under Motihar Police Station in Rajshahi.

The incident occurred on August 5, when several people, including Mainul Islam, were injured due to the firing in front of the Alupatti Swachh Tower under Boalia Model Police Station. Following the incident, a case was filed, in which Ravi is listed as the fourth accused.

On September 24, 2024, a Boalia Police team, acting on secret information, arrested Ravi from the Binodpur area. Ravi has a criminal record, with nine cases against him in various police stations across the country. He will be presented before the court and sent to jail.
