Netrokona, Sep 27 (V7N)- On Friday, September 27, World Tourism Day was celebrated at the District Commissioner's office in Durgapur, Netrokona marking the event with a lively rally and engaging activities. The celebration began around 10:30 AM, with young children from Beam Oasis Laboratory School participating in a colorful rally. The rally, which started from the Deputy Commissioner’s office gate, proceeded along the main road, drawing attention to the significance of tourism in the region.

Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. The event also included a prize distribution ceremony for a painting and writing competition organized in honor of World Tourism Day. Deputy Commissioner Banani Biswas, who served as the chief guest, distributed prizes to the winners of the competition.
