Savar Feb 26 (V7N) - Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd) stated that most criminal activities take place in the early hours of the morning. He made this remark while speaking to reporters after inaugurating the farmers' cold room program and the Khamari mobile app, developed by BARC, at the Horticulture Center in Rajalakha, Savar, on Wednesday (February 26) morning.

He emphasized that no one should take the law into their own hands, as the police and security forces are actively working to ensure public safety. To assess the situation firsthand, he mentioned that he personally monitors the law and order conditions in the capital during the early hours.

Addressing concerns in Ashulia’s industrial area, he noted that worker dissatisfaction has significantly decreased. He also highlighted that in addition to police presence, the army is deployed in Ashulia, Savar, and Dhamrai. Furthermore, the government has undertaken various initiatives to protect agricultural land.

The event was attended by Agriculture Secretary Dr. Md. Emdad Ullah Mian, along with other officials and dignitaries.
