Habiganj, Mar 7, (V7N) - A man was fined Tk 90,000 by a mobile court for illegally extracting soil in Madhabpur, Habiganj. On Thursday, February 6, at 2 PM, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mujibur Islam led an operation in the Bishnu Pur area of Choumuni Union, where soil was being extracted from agricultural land. According to the Sand and Soil Management Act, 2010, Aziz Mia, son of Alai Mia from Bishnu Pur village, was fined for the offense.
 
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mujibur Islam confirmed the incident and stated that operations against illegal sand and soil extraction will continue.
