Pabna, Mar 08 (V7N) - A joint operation by the army and police forces was conducted in Pabna on Saturday afternoon to restore road order. The hour-long operation, led by Pabna Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Murad Hossain, focused on Gachapara, a key entry point to the Pabna-Iswardi highway.
During the operation, checkpoints were established to scrutinize driving licenses and motorcycle documentation of over a hundred motorcyclists. The enforcement resulted in 12 cases being filed, a total of Tk 65,000 in fines collected, and the seizure of 3 motorcycles.
This initiative underscores the joint forces' commitment to enforcing traffic regulations and ensuring road safety in the Pabna region.
