Chatmohar, Pabna, Mar 28 (V7N) – Hasanul Islam Raja, former acting president of the Zia Cultural Alliance Central Committee, has called on the residents of Pabna-3 constituency to reject corrupt, extortionist, and terrorist leaders. He urged them to choose honest and capable individuals for the upcoming elections.
Speaking as the chief guest at a prayer and Iftar gathering organized by the local BNP at Chatmohar Government College field on Friday (March 28), Raja emphasized the need for clean leadership.
"You are aware of which leaders in the Pabna-3 area are involved in corruption, extortion, terrorism, and land grabbing. Therefore, I urge you to give them a red card and say no. No corrupt, extortionist, or muscle-flexing individual can bring welfare to Chatmohar. So, choose an honest, capable, and relatively better person for the next election. Stand by them," Raja stated.
He also addressed concerns regarding international conspiracies against Bangladesh, stressing the importance of unity within the BNP to counter these threats.
"There are various international conspiracies being hatched against Bangladesh. To counter these conspiracies, all levels of BNP leaders and activists must unite under one umbrella. Otherwise, we will have to pay a very heavy price," he warned.
The event featured speeches from other local leaders, including Nur Mohammad Masum Boga, Joint Convener of the District BNP; Sharif Mahmud Sanju, President of the Chatmohar Upazila Principals' Association and Principal of Chatmohar Women's Degree College; Sushanta Roy, President of the Chatmohar Upazila branch of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association; Ashok Chakraborty, President of the Chatmohar Upazila Puja Celebration Council; and Riaz Uddin Molla, former Senior Vice-President of Chatmohar Municipal BNP.
