Tangail, Mar 30 (BVT)– Following instructions from BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman, Eid items were distributed to impoverished and vulnerable residents in Tangail Municipality's Ward No. 15 on Saturday afternoon.

"Eid items have been distributed among the poor and helpless people on the instructions of BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman," a local BNP organizer confirmed.

The distribution event provided Eid necessities to over 500 individuals in need.

"The Eid items were distributed among more than 500 helpless people in Ward No. 15 of Tangail Municipality on Saturday afternoon," a local aid worker reported.

The event featured a video conference presided over by former district BNP vice president Ziaul Haque Shahin, with BNP Central Executive Committee Publicity Secretary Alhaj Sultan Salauddin Tuku delivering the welcome address.

"At this time, former district BNP vice president Ziaul Haque Shahin presided over the video conference, and BNP Central Executive Committee Publicity Secretary Alhaj Sultan Salauddin Tuku delivered a welcome speech to the public as the chief guest," an event coordinator stated.

Several prominent local and district BNP leaders attended the distribution.

"Special guests were former district BNP vice presidents Ali Imam Tapan, Sadek Hossain Khoka, Tangail Club General Secretary Kamruzzaman Khan, District Volunteer Party convener Saleh Mohammad Safi Ethen, Matsjibi Party convener Mustafa, Tangail Volunteer Forum founding director Tanvir Hasan Khan Rubel, and district and local BNP leaders," a participant list confirmed.
