Rajbari, Apr 05 (V7N) – After celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with family and friends, thousands of people have begun returning to their workplaces through the Daulatdia ferry and launch ghat in Rajbari. Despite the growing pressure of both passengers and vehicles, the ghat has remained free of traffic congestion or significant delays.

Since Saturday (April 5) morning, the Daulatdia Ghat has been witnessing a steady stream of returnees, mainly from the southern districts of Bangladesh. However, the crowd has been handled efficiently, with ferries departing regularly and vehicles boarding without delay.

Commuters expressed relief and satisfaction at the smooth travel experience.
"Just like we didn’t face any issues while heading home for Eid, the return journey has also been very comfortable," said one passenger on his way back to Dhaka.

Ruhul Amin, Assistant Manager of BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat, confirmed the smooth operations:
"Currently, 17 ferries are operating on the Daulatdia-Paturia route. Since we have enough ferries in service, passengers and vehicles are crossing the river without any trouble."

The efficient ferry operations have helped avoid the usual post-holiday traffic chaos, easing the burden on both commuters and authorities.

With millions now heading back to their daily routines, the smooth management at Daulatdia Ghat has come as a welcome relief during this busy travel period.
