Rajapur, Dec 08 (V7N) – Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized an election workers’ conference on Sunday afternoon ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary elections. The event took place at the playground of Government Primary School, North Monohorpur, attracting party workers from various areas of the upazila.
 
The chief guest of the conference was District Amir Advocate Md. Hafizur Rahman, while Dr. Faizul Haque, parliamentary candidate for Jhalokathi-1 (Rajapur–Kathalia), served as the main speaker. Special guests included Maulana Abu Bakar Md. Siddiq, Md. Kabir Hossain, and Md. Faruk Hossain. The session was presided over by Md. Mostafizur Rahman, president of Ward No. 7 of Sadar Union.
 
In his speech, Dr. Faizul Haque emphasized his commitment to prioritizing citizens’ quality of life, security, education, and development while establishing peaceful and justice-based politics. Speakers highlighted the importance of restoring public rights and strengthening organizational capacity, urging party workers to become more active in fieldwork.
