Four one-shooter guns were found abandoned in the Chapainawabganj sector of the city last night during a crime-fighting operation by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), according to RAB press brifing here on Tuesday morning.

According to the RAB statement, the guns were recovered abandoned while an elite force unit passing through Chandana hamlet, which is near to the route connecting Nachole to Gomostapur under the Nachole upazila, on 10:30 p.m.

The recovered weapons were turned over to the police, and a complaint was made in this regard to the Nachole Police Station.
