June 5, (V7N Rangamati)- In observance of World Environment Day, a discussion session was held in Rangamati. On Wednesday (June 5), morning, at the initiative of the Rangamati District Administration, this session was conducted in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.
 
Chaired by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Rangamati, Mohammad Mosarrof Hossain Khan, the session was attended by Additional District Commissioner Mo Saiful Islam, Additional Police Superintendent (Sadar Circle) Jahedul Islam, Assistant Forest Conservator Tabibur Rahman, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Riffat Asma, along with government and non-government officials and media personnel.
 
During the discussion session, speakers presented their views on environmental pollution and its remedies, alongside urging everyone to be conscious of the environment.
 
Prior to the discussion session, a rally was organized from Happy More of the town in honor of the day, culminating in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
