Rangamati, Aug 29 (V7N) - The Rangamati Army Region has initiated a special humanitarian aid effort. On Thursday morning, under the leadership of Regional Commander Brigadier General Md. Shawkat Osman (AWC, AFC, PSC, PhD), assistance was extended to the underprivileged hill people and Bengali communities. This support included sewing machines to aid self-employment and medical assistance for the sick, with a total financial donation of Tk 128,000.
 
The Regional Commander emphasized that the Bangladesh Army is dedicated to advancing the nation by overcoming ethnic, tribal, and religious divides. He assured that the army remains committed to being available to the public at all times. This initiative reflects that ongoing commitment.
 
The Rangamati Region is resolute in its efforts to promote peace, unity, and development through such service-oriented activities. The army is steadfast in its support for the welfare of people in this remote hilly region and anticipates that these humanitarian efforts will continue in the future.
