Cox's Bazar, Sep 12 (V7N) - Hasnat Abdullah, the central coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, had his mobile phone stolen while he was resting in a hotel room in Cox’s Bazar.
 
The incident occurred on Thursday (September 12) in the afternoon at the Silton Residential Hotel, where Abdullah was staying.
 
Cox’s Bazar Police Superintendent Mohammad Rahmat Ullah confirmed the theft, stating that Abdullah reported his phone missing and that the police are actively working to recover it.
 
Abdullah explained during a meeting at the Shaheed Subhash Hall of Cox’s Bazar Public Library that his Samsung S24 series phone was stolen around 11 a.m. while he was resting. The phone has yet to be recovered.
 
An anonymous coordinator from the anti-discrimination student movement reported that Abdullah had been in Pekua-Chakaria the previous day to visit the families of martyrs. He returned to Cox’s Bazar to attend a discussion meeting and was staying at a hotel in the Kalatali area when the phone was stolen.
