Bagerhat, July 16 (V7N) – In an effort to raise public awareness about tiger conservation in the Sundarbans, a drawing competition was organized on Tuesday morning at the Pradipon Cyclone Shelter in Southkhali Union, Sarankhola, Bagerhat. The event was hosted by the Bagi Forest Station of the Eastern Sundarbans Sarankhola Range, in collaboration with the Tiger Conservation Project.
The event featured a discussion meeting chaired by Md. Abdus Sabur, the officer in charge of Bagi Station. Notable speakers included Arif Hossain from Protires Activity, Nazmul Islam, president of the Sarankhola Wildlife Conservation Team, Mohammad Jewel Howladar, a teacher from Shaheed Titumir Academy, Mohammad Imran Hossain, a teacher from Sarankhola Ideal School, as well as teachers Sanjida Akter, Kajol Rekha, and foresters Mustafizur Rahman and Rana Howladar.
After the discussion, prizes were awarded to the winners of the drawing competition. The competition saw participation from 50 students across four schools.
