Dhaka, Mar 31 (V7N) - After a month of fasting, the people of Bangladesh are celebrating Eid with great joy. This festive spirit has also spread to the country’s entertainment industry. Every year, the two Eids see a rush of multiple film releases, as cinemas witness a surge in audiences compared to other times of the year.

This Eid, six films have been released, with the most anticipated being ‘Borbad’, starring megastar Shakib Khan. The film has already been released in 120 theatres across the country.

Currently, Borbad is being screened in over 500 shows across single-screen cinemas, cineplexes, and multiplexes nationwide. The film’s grand opening was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony at Madhumita Cinema Hall, which has created a buzz on social media, with fans celebrating the event enthusiastically.

Videos shared on social media show huge crowds of Shakib Khan fans gathering outside theatres, eagerly waiting to watch Borbad. The grand opening further heightened excitement among fans.

Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, Borbad has captivated audiences with its posters, teasers, and songs. The film stars Idhika Pal from Kolkata as the female lead opposite Shakib Khan.
