Mumbai, June 23 (V7N) — Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has revealed that he has been silently battling multiple complex health conditions for years while continuing to work tirelessly in the film industry.

Speaking candidly on the first episode of the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show, Salman shared that he has been suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, aneurysm, and arteriovenous malformation (AVM).

“There will be diseases, but to survive in Bollywood, you have to work hard,” said Salman. “Every day, bones break, muscles tear, and I continue working with trigeminal neuralgia. I have an aneurysm in my brain. Despite that, I’m still working. I also have AV malformation, and I’m moving around.”

The actor added that various personal complications also affect his life and that when he is mentally distressed, his physical ailments tend to worsen.

Salman had previously spoken about his struggle with trigeminal neuralgia in 2017. Often referred to as the “suicide disease”, trigeminal neuralgia causes extreme facial pain that can lead patients to despair. An aneurysm is a potentially life-threatening neurological condition involving abnormal bulging of blood vessels in the brain, while AV malformation is an abnormal connection between arteries and veins, which can occur in the brain or other parts of the body.

Despite these serious health challenges, Salman Khan continues to remain active in films and television, earning admiration from fans for his resilience.
