Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped and verbally abused by a female security guard named Kulwinder Kaur. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 6, while Ranaut was traveling to Delhi with her family. Several Indian media outlets, including the Hindustan Times, have reported on the incident.

The altercation reportedly happened at the security checkpoint of Chandigarh Airport. According to reports, a heated argument broke out between Ranaut and Kaur, a member of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). During the argument, Kaur allegedly slapped the actress.

In a video circulating online, Kulwinder Kaur mentioned that her mother participated in the farmers' protests. Ranaut had previously made controversial statements suggesting that women participated in the protests for money, which allegedly fueled Kaur's anger.

An airport official stated that no written complaint has been filed regarding the incident, but the CISF is investigating the matter.

Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jairam Thakur, expressed his dismay over the incident, calling it "very unfortunate" and emphasizing that no one has the right to harm another person.
