Dhaka, Jan 29 (V7N) —Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumdar on Tuesday urged all concerned to work with dedication to ensure sustainable and digitized land services across the country.
He also emphasized the proper application of knowledge gained through "training in public service" to maintain professional relevance, saying: “A positive image of the ministry must be created among the people by providing them with genuine services.”
The land adviser was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the “Officers/Employees Orientation Training Program on the 2nd Version of Newly Created/Improved Software for People-Friendly Automated Land Services,” held at the conference room of Bhumi Bhaban in the capital.
“The individuals operating the devices to provide digitized services must also perform their duties with honesty,” the adviser said.
Highlighting the significance of land management, he said that people's lives are closely tied to it and that the government has undertaken digitization initiatives in land services to ensure universal access to land rights.
“This is a timely initiative to simplify land services. The socio-economic livelihood of many people is directly impacted by the transparency, security, and modernization of land management,” he added.
Referring to the frequent visits by people to Union Land Offices, Upazila Land Offices, and AC Land Offices for land services, Ali Imam Majumdar said: “The social and economic structure of the country is deeply connected to land management.”
