Dhaka, Feb 22 (V7N) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has clarified that certain groups have misinterpreted the walkout by delegates during the speech of the Israeli representative at the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety in Marrakesh, Morocco, on February 18, 2025.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry confirmed that Bangladesh was among the nations that walked out in protest.

Reaffirming Bangladesh’s longstanding support for the Palestinian cause, the statement reiterated the country's opposition to Israeli actions, including genocide and repression against Palestinians.

The Ministry urged all parties to refrain from spreading misinformation about the incident.
