Dhaka, Sept 6 (V7N) – Thousands of devotees took part in a grand procession, discussion meeting, and celebratory rally in the capital on Saturday to mark the holy occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The event was organized by Ashiqan-e-Gausia Rahmania Moinia Shahidia Maizbhandaria. The procession, known as Jashn-e-Julush, began at 11 a.m. from the Engineers Institution in Ramna and paraded through various streets of Dhaka, drawing large participation from followers, religious scholars, and well-wishers.

Participants carried banners, flags, and chanted religious slogans, spreading messages of peace, unity, and love for the Prophet.
Speakers at the discussion meeting highlighted the Prophet’s teachings of compassion, justice, and humanity, calling on Muslims to embody these values in daily life. They emphasized that Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi should inspire unity among the Muslim community and promote harmony in society.
Organizers said the annual Jashn-e-Julush aims to remind the faithful of the timeless relevance of the Prophet’s message and to foster spiritual devotion among the younger generation.
