In Myanmar's Rakhine state, the clashes between the Arakan Army (AA) the armed forces are going on with heavy weapons attacks including bullets, bombs, mortar shells. On April 8. Monday morning to noon, loud noises are heard in various areas of the municipality, including Whykong, Hnila and Sabrang borders of Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar Bangladesh.The residents of the border are panicking.
 
Mohammed Alam, a resident of Leda border in Teknaf, told Voice7 News that he can hear the sound of gunfire from Leda in Myanmar's Rakhine state.
 
Rashed Mahmud Ali, Chairman of Hnila Union Parishad of Teknaf, said Voice7News  that the sound of heavy gunfire has been heard since morning. He said, "In the ongoing war in Rakhine, the loud sound of heavy gunfire is being heard. Every day the loud noise of such shells is increasing the panic among the people here.
 
In this regard, Coast Guard Headquarters Media Officer Lt. Commander Khandaker Munif Taqi said, The conflict in Rakhine is an internal matter of Myanmar." However, due to the conflict, the Coast Guard patrol has been strengthened in the Naf River to prevent Rohingyas or any other group from entering Bangladesh.
