In Bangladesh Feni district, the worshippers prayed for rain while shedding bitter tears.
The country-wide heat wave has caused significant disruptions to people's lives. Locals people pray for rain by offering salatul Istiska, or special prayers.

At the Feni Al Jamiatul Falahia Kamil Madrasa grounds, the prayer took place on Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m.  Hundreds of worshippers from all across the city took part in it.  Leading the gathering in prayer was Maulana Mufti Abdul Hannan, the madrasa's instructor.

The Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin is prayed to at the conclusion of the prayer for deliverance from the heat.  The worshippers begged for forgiveness and repentance during this time, shedding tears.

Prayers were offered by worshippers who reported that the extreme drought is making life extremely tough for the average person.  Inside the home and outside in the searing heat, there is no tranquilly.  In the hopes of Allah's kindness, that is why we have all met to pray for rain.

Before the prayer, which was part of the central programme of the Feni district Jamaat-e-Islami, district secretary Maulana Mufti Abdul Hannan stated that people are suffering a great deal as a result of ongoing violence.  Invoke rain via prayer, according to Allah.  We all assembled and performed Salatul Istiska for that reason.
