In Bandarban's Naikshyongchari Tumbru border region, the BGB has found one more unharmed lethal shell that was shot from Myanmar.

At about 3:30 on Friday, February 9, the deadly shell was found near Tumbru border's pillar number 34.

According to the locals, at approximately midday, a woman was at No. 34 Pillar, retrieving an unexploded fatal shell from Myanmar. The detonated mortar shell was retrieved and stored securely by BGB.

The villagers became terrified as soon as they learned about that.
I went to work in the paddy field near the Tumbru border in the morning, Rajiya Begum said. Mortar shells were seen on pillar number 34 at that point, close to the boundary. Afterwards, carry it by hand back home.

Rajiya Begum manually carried an explosive mortar shell home around midday, according to brother-in-law Md. Rashel, the Begum of Rajiya. The BGB members arrived and retrieved the mortar shells once they observed it and alerted them.

Shafiqul Islam, a UP member from Ward No. 1, reported that at about noon, a woman named Rajiya transported a mortar shell from the border to Pillar No. 34. After receiving the information, BGB located the mortar shell and removed it to a secure location.
