Dhaka, Oct 22 (V7N) – BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has expressed concern over the state of the interim government, warning of potential instability. During a leaflet distribution event aimed at raising dengue awareness at Bahadur Shah Park in Old Dhaka, Rizvi remarked, “We are facing a confusing situation. The people of the country are in a paradox. At first, we heard the former foreign minister was arrested, but later it was reported he was seen in Jackson Heights, USA.”

Rizvi further commented on the case of former state minister for information, Mohammad Arafat, drawing attention to the public's frustration over inconsistent reports of arrests. "Why are people being misled?" he questioned.

He also criticized the delay in withdrawing what he called "false cases" filed by Sheikh Hasina against BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, claiming it is part of the ruling Awami League’s "fascist" agenda.

Several BNP leaders, including Dhaka Metropolitan South Convener Rafiqul Alam Majnu, Member Secretary Tanvir Ahmed Rabin, BNP leader Ishraque Hossain, Jubo Dal leader Omar Faruk Kawser, and Chhatra Dal leader Towhid Awal, were also present at the event.
