Dhaka, Dec 06 (V7N) — Nurul Haque Nur, president of the People's Rights Council, has alleged that India is conspiring to destabilize the interim government in Bangladesh. He also claimed that propaganda is being spread from India to create unrest in the country.

Nur made these statements during a discussion meeting organized by the People's Rights Council in Mirpur, Dhaka, on Friday afternoon.

During his speech, Nur criticised attempts to "rehabilitate fascists" and proposed the formation of a national government to ensure stability. He further suggested banning protests and public meetings for six months to maintain peace and order.

"It is crucial to form a national government with the participation of all parties involved in the movement. Without this, the interim government will not survive," Nur stated.

The remarks come at a time of heightened political tension in Bangladesh, with discussions ongoing about the composition and role of the interim government.

The People's Rights Council has been actively advocating for systemic reforms and greater accountability in governance. Nur's statements are expected to draw responses from various political quarters in the coming days.
