Dhaka, Dec 30 (V7N) — BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan stressed the importance of students focusing on their education before aspiring to lead the nation. Speaking at a seminar on information technology at Atish Dipankar Science and Technology University on Monday, he highlighted the role of education in shaping future leaders.
“In the future, students will run the country, but that will be at the end of their educational life,” Dr. Moin Khan stated. “If students do not listen to their teachers, the system will collapse.”
The BNP leader also touched on the subject of reforms, asserting that real change must come from people. “If people do not reform, even if thousands of reform commissions are formed, there will be no benefit,” he said.
Expressing concern over global security challenges, he remarked, “Security taboos are engulfing the world, which is alarming. Even though the use of technology has increased in the country, harassment has not decreased, nor has the quality of service improved.”
The seminar was attended by students, faculty members, and IT professionals, with discussions revolving around the future of technology and its impact on society.
