Dhaka, Feb 07 (V7N) – People's Rights Council President Nurul Haque Nur has warned that attempts are being made to transfer power to a third party by fostering anarchy under the guise of revolution. He cautioned that inciting mobs and promoting chaos will have detrimental effects on the country's stability.

Speaking at the Workers' Rights Council meeting held at Paltan College Ground on Friday afternoon (February 7), Nur stressed the importance of peaceful political engagement over violent uprisings.

Condemning the Exploitation of the Mass Uprising

Nur criticized efforts to exploit the spirit of the mass uprising for political gain, stating that forming parties or seizing control under such pretenses is unacceptable.

While clarifying that he does not endorse violence, he emphasized the need for awareness and responsibility to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control.

Political Provocation and Public Deception

Nur alleged that political provocations are being orchestrated to mislead the public and achieve hidden agendas. “Dust is being thrown into the eyes of the people,” he said, implying that citizens are being manipulated for political purposes.

Call for Democratic Stability

Highlighting the importance of democratic governance, Nur asserted that there is no alternative to an elected political government for maintaining the country's stability. He reiterated the necessity of transparent and fair elections to ensure sustainable peace and development.

Nur's comments come amid rising political tensions and public unrest following recent events, including the arson attacks on political leaders' residences and student protests. His statements reflect a growing call for non-violent solutions and democratic processes in resolving the nation's challenges.
