Support for the Interim Government

Mirza Fakhrul reaffirmed the BNP's support for the interim government led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, stating:

"We are giving 100 percent support to the interim government. Yes, we want reforms in the affected institutions. But these reforms must be implemented by representatives of the people, who understand the pulse of the nation."

Criticism of Law and Order Situation

He expressed concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation, mentioning that:

"We have already noticed that the recommendations of the Local Government Reforms Agency go against the basic concept of people's representation."

Call for Ethnic Unity and Timely Elections

The BNP leader stressed the need for unity to prevent delays in national elections, saying:

"Yes, we are going through a transitional phase, but let us not prolong this change. Let us not delay the national elections for the sake of the country. Let us be united again."
