Lakshmipur, Mar 05 (V7N) – BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie has alleged that even after Sheikh Hasina fled the country, her allies are still conspiring against Bangladesh.

Annie made these remarks while distributing corrugated iron sheets to flood-affected families in Lakshmipur on Wednesday morning (March 5).

He expressed concern over the weapons looted from police stations during the August 5 uprising, stating that they have not been recovered even after six months. He warned that "friends of fascism" are attempting to destabilize society using both these missing weapons and illegal arms allegedly held by the Awami League.

"The interim government must launch a special operation to recover the looted weapons," Annie urged, adding that BNP will fully support and cooperate with such an effort.

Annie also pointed out the deteriorating law and order situation, citing an increase in theft, robbery, and violence. He cautioned that if the missing weapons are not recovered soon, they could be used to disrupt the upcoming elections.

However, he assured that BNP and the people will not allow any electoral manipulation or center occupation.

"We will face all conspiracies together," Annie declared.
