Dhaka, Mar 22 (V7N) – The National Citizen Party (NCP) will hold a protest rally demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina, the Awami League, and their fascist allies for genocide during the July-August movement, the cancellation of the party's registration, and the prohibition of its political and organizational activities.

The protest rally will take place on Saturday at 3:30pm in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh.


This information was announced in a press release signed by NCP’s Joint Member Secretary, Saleh Uddin Sifat, and sent to the media on Friday night.

The statement mentioned that the NCP Dhaka Metropolitan Unit will organize the protest rally on Saturday at 3:00pm in front of the Shahbagh National Museum, demanding justice for enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and genocide, as well as the cancellation of the Awami League's registration and the prohibition of its political and organizational activities.

The press release also urged all NCP leaders and activists to be present at the rally on time.
