Dhaka, July 24, (V7N) – BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia returned to her Gulshan residence early Wednesday morning after undergoing a series of medical tests at Evercare Hospital.
She arrived home at 2:52 am following a brief stay at the hospital, which began after 1:15 am. According to her personal physician, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, the visit was scheduled for routine check-ups based on the advice of the medical board overseeing her treatment.
Khaleda Zia is currently receiving care under a specialized medical team led by Evercare’s Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder.
The BNP chief had earlier traveled to London on January 8 for advanced treatment, where she spent 17 days at a clinic before moving to her son Tarique Rahman's residence. She returned to Bangladesh on May 6 after a four-month stay.
