A charge sheet of sabotage case has been filed against 31 people including former member of Parliament Dr. Ghazi A. Haque after the investigation.  The charge sheet was submitted to the court by the investigation officer Phultala police station AI (retd) Md. Asaduzzaman and SI Hasanuzzaman.  Complaint filed today.
 
According to related sources, on April 8, 2023, a group of unidentified miscreants created terror by bursting cocktails and bombs on the road with batons and indigenous weapons near Ideal School on Jamira Shahapur road and obstructed traffic.  
 
When the police reached the spot, they fled.  At that time, the police recovered unexploded cocktails and batons from the scene.  In this incident, the Fultala police station filed a sabotage case No. 10, dated 08/04/23 with the names of 17 people and 30/35 others as defendants of ignorance.  
 
The investigation officer of the case, AI (retd) Md. Asaduzzaman and SI Hasanuzzaman filed a charge sheet mentioning the names of 31 people including Professor Dr. Gazi A. Haque after 9 months of investigation.
 
Md. Nazrul Islam Molya, Md. Gani Doctor and Md. Abdullah were excluded from the 17 people included in the Ezhar of Fultala police station.  A total of 31 people including 17 others were newly charged.
 
Local BNP leaders said that former Member of Parliament Dr. Prof. Dr. Gazi A. Haque is physically ill for a long time.  He was bedridden at the time of the said incident.
