Habiganj, Sep 15 (V7N) - In a tragic road accident, two individuals, including a Chhatra Dal leader, lost their lives on Saturday night in Chunarughat Upazila of Habiganj. The incident took place at around 9:30 PM near the Ramganga Bridge, close to Chandir Mazar, along the road leading to Satchari National Park.
 
The victims have been identified as Hafiz Sarkar (27), joint convener of Shayestaganj Municipal Chhatra Dal, and Mostafizur Rahman (26), a local businessman. Both were residents of Shayestaganj Upazila.
 
According to Hillol Roy, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chunarughat Police Station, the two men had gone out for a motorcycle ride. While returning, their vehicle lost control and overturned. Tragically, a truck from behind ran over them and sped away, leaving both men dead at the scene.
