Dhaka, Nov 14 (V7N) - Catherine West, the UK's Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Indo-Pacific, is scheduled to visit Bangladesh from November 16 to 17.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Md Toufique Hasan, West will hold courtesy meetings with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus and Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain during her stay.

A key focus of her visit is to bolster ties between Bangladesh and the UK, particularly in the areas of economic collaboration, strategic cooperation, and immigration partnerships, Toufique Hasan noted at the ministry’s weekly briefing on Thursday.
