Dhaka, Nov 24 (V7N) — The government is set to recruit 18,149 individuals through the 43rd to 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations. Of these, 12,790 will be appointed as cadre officers, while 5,439 will be recruited for non-cadre positions, according to Public Administration Secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman.

The announcement was made during a press conference on Sunday afternoon. Secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman stated that the highest number of appointments will be made through the 46th BCS, which will recruit over 4,000 candidates. Additionally, the circular for the 47th BCS is expected to be published soon, he confirmed.

This recruitment drive is part of the government’s ongoing effort to strengthen its workforce and address manpower needs across various sectors.
