Kanthalia, Jhalakathi, Apr 16 (V7N) – Authorities in Kanthalia, Jhalakathi, have taken strict action against four candidates and five room inspectors following allegations of irregularities during the Arabic 2nd paper examination at two entrance examination centers on Tuesday, April 15th.

"Four candidates were expelled from two entrance examination centers in Kathalia, Jhalakathi, on Tuesday (April 15) for allegedly engaging in illegal activities in the Arabic 2nd paper examination," a Jhalakathi Representative reported.

According to the report, one candidate was expelled from the Kathalia Sadar Fazil Madrasa center, while three other candidates were expelled from the Amua Chand Mia Fazil Madrasa center for alleged involvement in illicit activities during the examination.

"Among them, one candidate was expelled from Kathalia Sadar Fazil Madrasa center and three candidates were expelled from Amua Chand Mia Fazil Madrasa center," the report detailed.

In addition to the expulsion of the candidates, the Upazila Executive Officer (UEO) Zahirul Islam has taken disciplinary action against the invigilators on duty. Two room inspectors at the Kathalia Sadar Fazil Madrasa Center and three room inspectors at the Amua Chand Mia Fazil Madrasa Center have been dismissed from all examination duties, citing negligence in their responsibilities during the examination process.

"In addition, Upazila Executive Officer Zahirul Islam has dismissed two room inspectors at the Kathalia Sadar Fazil Madrasa Center and three room inspectors at the Amua Chand Mia Fazil Madrasa Center from all examination duties for negligence in their duties," the correspondent noted.

UEO Zahirul Islam confirmed the disciplinary measures, stating that a total of four candidates and five room inspectors have been suspended from all examination-related duties due to negligence at the two entrance examination centers in Kanthalia.

"Upazila Executive Officer Zahirul Islam said that four candidates and five room inspectors were suspended from all examination duties for negligence in their duties at two entrance examination centers in Kathalia," UEO Islam affirmed.

These actions underscore the strict stance being taken by educational authorities in Kanthalia to maintain the integrity and fairness of entrance examinations. The expulsion of candidates and the suspension of room inspectors serve as a deterrent against any form of malpractice or negligence during crucial academic evaluations.
