Dhaka, Mar 02 (V7N) –The government has promoted 29 town and traffic inspectors of the police to the rank of assistant superintendent of police (ASP), the Home Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, the officers who were inducted in Bangladesh Civil Service’s (BCS) police cadre as ASPs had been serving as police’s town and traffic inspectors.
Under the notification, they were attached to the Police Headquarters with directives to submit their joining letters to the senior secretary of the public security division of the Home Ministry through proper authority.
