Dhaka, Dec 22 (V7N)— A nationwide ‘Vote Car’ campaign will begin on Monday (December 22) to raise awareness and motivate voters ahead of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Sunday (December 21).
The campaign will be officially inaugurated through a video message by Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the South Plaza of the National Parliament on Monday at 4:00 pm.
Advisors Syeda Rizwana Hasan (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) and Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui (Ministry of Cultural Affairs), along with Akhtar Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the Election Commission, will be present at the inauguration ceremony.
According to the ministry, the ‘Vote Car’ campaign aims to increase public awareness about voting rights, democratic participation, and the importance of the referendum. Through mobile outreach, the campaign will travel to different parts of the country to engage voters and encourage their active participation in the democratic process.
Officials believe the initiative will play a significant role in fostering civic responsibility and ensuring informed voter participation ahead of the upcoming national polls.
