Dhaka, Mar 20 (V7N) — President Md. Shahabuddin will exchange greetings with people from all walks of life at Bangabhaban on Saturday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which is being celebrated across Bangladesh today.
According to the state news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the President will first offer Eid prayers at the National Eidgah Maidan at 8:30 am.
Following the prayers, he will exchange Eid greetings with invited guests at Bangabhaban. The program will include eminent personalities such as senior politicians, judges, poets, writers, journalists, teachers, intellectuals, as well as civil and military officials and people from various professions. Around 8,000 guests have been invited for the occasion.
The President will also extend Eid greetings to the nation through the media from the Credentials Hall of Bangabhaban.
The program reflects the tradition of celebrating Eid as a national festival that brings together people from all sections of society.
