In addition, the government plans to set up two major training academies in Jangal Salimpur, including one dedicated to training elite forces.
The Home Minister said that recent efforts by law enforcement have helped improve the institution’s public image after earlier criticism, adding that the police are working to restore public confidence and maintain it moving forward.
He also announced steps to strengthen the Tourist Police Bangladesh, aiming to improve tourist safety and support the country’s tourism sector. He said coordinated efforts by senior officials, including the IGP, are needed to enhance Bangladesh’s image and attract more visitors.
