In honour of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious celebration observed by Muslims, President Mohammed Shahabuddin and his spouse Dr. Rebeka Sutana will visit a diverse group of people at Bangabhaban on Thursday.
 
"in 8.30 am, the President will offer his Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in the National Eidgah, which is located in front of the High Court in the capital. In addition, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., he would welcome people of all classes at Bangabhaban with Eid greetings, the president's press secretary, Md. Joynal Abedin, informed this afternoon.
 
He continued: "The President will also convey his Eid greetings to the countrymen through media at the Credentials Hall of the Bangabhaban here."
 
All classes and professions, including notable individuals, senior politicians, judges, poets, litterateurs, authors, journalists, teachers, intellectuals, diplomats, and civil and military authorities, will receive Eid wishes from the Head of State.
 
On this special occasion, up to 1500 well-known individuals were invited to the Bangabhaban.
 
As is customary, they will be delighted with delectable culinary items.
 
The President will spend time at the Presidential Palace with family members following the event.
