DHAKA, July 04 (V7N): The Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance has officially revised the honorarium, remuneration, and expenditure rates for officials and staff involved in conducting government recruitment and promotion examinations.
The new guidelines, issued by the Regulation Wing (Regulation-2 Branch), establish standardized fees across all ministries, divisions, directorates, and government departments. The revised framework aims to streamline examination-related spending, explicitly stipulating that all expenses must be covered within the existing budget allocated for each specific recruitment cycle without any additional funding from the government.

Production of OMR topsheets is capped at BDT 20 per unit, while standard coding and decoding is fixed at BDT 4 per script.
Furthermore, overall procurement for emergency hardware—such as trunks, locks, keys, and miscellaneous stationeries—is strictly capped at a maximum of ৳15,000 per examination cycle. To prevent fiscal inflation, the ministry added a hard cap rule: even if tests for multiple distinct positions are run concurrently on a single day, selection board members, experts, and question setters are strictly barred from drawing more than a single day's honorarium.
