The inaugural Hajj flight from Dhaka to Saudi Arabia is confirmed for May 9, according to Muhammad Kamruzzaman, director of the Dhaka Hajj Office. However, details regarding the schedules of subsequent flights are yet to be finalized. Kamruzzaman assured that passengers will receive information about their flight schedules soon.

This year, a total of 4,289 individuals have registered for Hajj under government arrangements, while 78,895 have registered under private management. The timing of the Hajj pilgrimage will depend on moon sighting and may commence on June 16.

It's customary for Hajj flights to commence approximately one month before the start of the pilgrimage each year, facilitating the smooth transportation of pilgrims from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia.
