As of Tuesday, a total of 47,985 Bangladeshi pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj, according to the Bangladesh Hajj Management Portal.

The data revealed that among the 47,985 pilgrims, 3,747 traveled under government management and 44,238 under private management.

Since the commencement of Hajj flights on May 9, a total of 121 flights have been operated. Biman Bangladesh Airlines accounted for 58 flights, Saudia Airlines for 38, and Flynas Airlines for 25.

This year's Hajj is scheduled for June 16. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has approved 259 agencies for Hajj-related activities.

Hajj flights will continue until June 10, with the return flights starting on June 20 and concluding on July 22.
