Dhaka, July 30 (V7N) — Bnagladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital on Tuesday afternoon to check on the injured victims from recent nationwide violence during the quota reform protests. Arriving at 5:00 p.m., she inquired about the condition of those being treated for injuries sustained during the student demonstrations for public service quota reform.
 
The Prime Minister issued instructions to ensure the victims received appropriate care and was visibly emotional upon witnessing the severity of the injuries and hearing accounts of the attacks.
 
During her visit, Dr. Md Shafiur Rahman, Director of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, briefed the Prime Minister on the treatment measures for the injured.
 
In recent days, Sheikh Hasina has also visited several other medical facilities, including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Central Police Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), and the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), to check on victims.
 
Additionally, the Prime Minister inspected several vandalized sites, including the metro rail station at Mirpur 10, Bangladesh Television (BTV) Bhaban in Rampura, Setu Bhaban, the Department of Disaster Management building, and the toll plaza of the Elevated Expressway at Mohakhali. She assured victims of proper treatment and wished them a swift recovery.
