Dhaka, August 11 – The remaining two advisers of the interim government are set to be sworn in on Sunday at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhavan. The oath will be administered by President Sahabuddin at 12 noon, as confirmed by the press wing of the President.

Among the advisers expected to take oath are Bidhan Ranjan Roy and Supradeep Chakma. The third adviser, Farooq-e-Azam, was also on the list but could not be sworn in earlier due to being outside Dhaka. However, there is still some uncertainty regarding his oath-taking.

In addition to the advisers, Syed Refat Ahmed is scheduled to take his oath as the Chief Justice during the ceremony.

This follows the swearing-in of Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus on the night of August 8, 2024. Thirteen other advisers were also sworn in at that time by President Sahabuddin in the Durbar Hall of Bangabhavan. The ceremony was attended by leaders of various political parties, military and civil officials, and diplomats.
