Incidentally, two people were killed by a mortar shell fired from Myanmar in Ghumdhum Union of Naikhongchhari Upazila of Bandarban on Monday afternoon. One of them is a Bangladeshi woman, the other is a Rohingya man. The mortar shell landed on a kitchen in Jalpaitli village of Ghumdhum union.
The deceased woman is Hosne Ara (55), wife of Badsha Mia of Jalpaitli village. The name of the deceased Rohingya is Nabi Hossain (70). He was a resident of the 8th block of Balukhali Shelter camp. He came to work as a laborer in Dhankhet at Ara's house in Hussain.
