Khulna. Sep 27 (V7N)- Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman pointed to the Awami League and said that mass murderers have no right to do politics. Because politics should be done by holding the aspirations of the people of the country, not with the help of someone from outside.
Regarding the current interim government, he said, the government should depart with respect by holding an acceptable election within a reasonable period of time by preparing a roadmap for reforms and elections in consultation with all stakeholders including political parties.
Mentioning that the Education Reform Commission includes people who do not accept Allah, he said, the Education Reform Commission should include at least one Aliya and one Qawmi Nesab scholar.
Demanding that all the killings of the country, including the killing of 57 vigilant army personnel in the name of BDR rebellion, be prosecuted and its masterminds brought under justice, he said, otherwise the oppressors may come again, the third force may emerge.
He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the Rukon conference organized by Khulna Mahanagar Jamaat at Al Farooq Society in Sonandanga city on Friday morning. Jamaat Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar gave a special guest speech.
Central Majlis Shura Member and Khulna Metropolitan Ameer Professor Mahfuzur Rahman spoke at the Rukon Conference, Central Executive Council Member Md Mubarak Hossain and Khulna Region Assistant Director Maulana Abul Kalam Azad spoke at the conference.
Jamaat Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also said in the Rukon conference that no citizen of the state was free from looting and oppression during the last fifteen years of Awami rule. The cries of thousands of people, mothers, sisters and children have reached the Throne of Allah. As a result, the July uprising was created by the students of the country.
